So my cat needs new food his name is Wilbur(obviously), and the requirements are that it is preferably a wet food and has less than 2% Ash but 0% is the preferred, as he's had urinary issues but doesn't need urinary prescription food. It also needs to be under .2% magnesium and preferably lower in phosphorus, around .7%, and no more than 5% carbs on a dry matter basis. I am open to feeding raw and was looking at Darwin's but am concerned about health risks associated with feeding raw such as GI upsets and disease. I would really like to feed a high quality wet food that meets the above criteria. So far, Tiki Cat has been tried and rejected by Wilbur. I have also tried several flavors of Weruva with Marbella Paella being the only one he likes. I have also tried Koha and Miko foods and he didn't like those either, or any Open Farm. He currently has some Instinct left for him to try, but his track record is 1 out of 6 foods approved, so I'm hoping to get more choices. Also have a Hound and Gato to try.

Ash is the minerals in the food, it shouldn’t be 0%.
I also have a picky cat now. I wish you luck in finding a food that meets your criteria, and is accepted by Wilbur.

If bacteria in raw worries you, you could get a brand of pre made raw that uses high pressure processed meat. I think that is available for poultry varieties, I’m not sure about others.

I’m currently considering trying Dr. Elsey’s clean Protein canned. I think it meets your criteria and the website says it’s good for cats with urinary issues. You can get a variety pack from Chewy that includes all 9 flavors.
