Hello! This is my first post.

as seen here, my cat Khaleesi (6yrs) has a scab in the corner of her mouth. The vet does not have any appointments until next week, so I wondered if there's any at home treatments, if I should change anything, or if I shouldn't worry about this. The problem zone is the side right corner of her lip, the image makes the inside of her mouth look very red but it is not.

When I touch it, it feels hard. There is no smell.

She's always refused to eat out of a bowl so she's always ate off the ground, I saw some people mention plastic bowls being a factor.

Thanks guys :(

It looks almost like she bit something sharp, and put a tiny cut in the corner of her mouth. Another thought...does she ever chew cords? It could be a small burn.

I, too, have a cat who has issues with bowls. I found one that is more of a dish, with no real "sides." She loves it. Turns out, she has hypersensitive whiskers, and hates the way the side of a bowl feel. You could try paper plates, which often work well for bowl-shy cats!
