Hello, and Happy first Saturday of Autumn up here and Spring down south!!

Simple question.

What are your plans for the weekend?

It's going to be rainy here today but Sunday will be amazing!

I plan on resting today, wash dishes, pacing myself. Will try to make a grilled sharp cheddar cheese and Bavarian ham sammie.

What about you?

Rain, what's that?!! We are in a severe drought here, my water bill is going to be horrible. Naturally, it is supposed to rain this Wednesday when I am supposed to trap my outside cats for TNR, as if I need something else to stress me out! I'm bringing in the live traps to test them out and make sure they are working, I noticed one had a bent 'arm' that goes to the trip lever. I've been getting them used to eat in them for the last couple of weeks. Mama cat is pregnant again, third litter, I'm afraid I'm going to have to abort her this time. Seh looks exhausted and is way too thin.
This weekend I will be watering, of course, helping my husband put in underground and grass seed, and the usual stuff like vacuuming, dusting, and getting rid of cat hair. I've started cutting down some outside perennials for the winter like the peonies and am waiting on the first frost for the rest.

Picked up my poor sick Buzz from the vets where he's been on a drip all night and now have to try to get him to eat. I'll read a little and have a long soak in a hot bubbly bath then watch some TV. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Weather is misty and not very warm so it's indoors for me.

I am absolutely thrilled that I have no plans whatsoever. It has been an unusually busy week and I am glad it’s over. I do need to pick up the house and do some laundry but that is it. Monday I am taking my IPad in for a new battery, which I am pretty excited about.

Hubby and I are touring the Tor House today, where poet Robinson Jeffers lived, and then having lunch in Carmel. Tomorrow we're going to visit a ranch where we may be helping to build a cat cottage to house adoptable senior cats for a local cat rescue. :clapcat:
