Same Litter, Polar Opposites

I have two 6 month old kittens that I’ve had since they were 5 weeks old! It’s so crazy to me that they look nothing alike except for in the face...anyone know what they could be? Our guesses are with Domestic Shorthair and something with long hair, but it’s hard when Felix is so long and Spooky is short!

Both of your cats appear to be blue mackerel tabbies, so they actually have a lot in common! The first one is a blue mackerel tabby shorthair, and the second one is a blue mackerel tabby and white longhair. Most cats are not any particular breed, so we call them domestic shorthairs or domestic longhairs, depending on hair length.

They are stunning! It's very possible to have a litter of kittens with short hair and long hair. I have two boys one is longhair, one is semi long hair, from their litter there was another longhair and a shorthair. My girl came from a litter of 5 and she was the only longhair. And all 3 of my cats, both their parents were shorthairs. It's pretty neat, and your cats are stunning!
