Sad farewell to Yoda (Bear)

He was not my cat and I never met him. Yoda - a 7 year old orange tabby was dumped at the Livingston County Animal Control and saved from euthanasia by a nice lady who already had lots of kitties. She renamed him Bear.

Yoda/Bear was not doing well... He was not adjusting to life in her house. He attacked her other cats and badly injured one of them. I told her it was likely fear aggression. She tried working with him. But I guess he stopped eating. Hepatic lipidosis set in. He passed away this morning.
The lady is heartbroken.

Rest in peace, sweet boy. At least you had a home in your last days. Play happily at the Rainbow Bridge.

So sad when things end that way. I hope Bear is at the bridge right now rolling in the green grass.

He knew love at the end of his life. There is nothing better than that.
