Ruby – 3,830 days was not enough

rubysmama Oh, how sad I felt when I came across this post. I could not believe it was our Ruby. I always loved your sweet girl especially the Santa picture of her you always posted at Christmas time. She was one of my favorites here at TCS. I do love orange kitties ( my Mittens was an orange kitty and the sweetest kitty ever). I lost my Mittens in 2015 of kidney disease as well. I only had him for 5 years.
Sorry if I am ranting on. I can do that at times.
I am so sorry that you lost your beautiful Ruby. I know how devastating the pain can be. I would not wish that pain on anyone.
It is truly heartbreaking when there is nothing we can do to save them. All we can do is love them and pray we did all we could.
I know how loved your Ruby was, by you , and your TCS family.
I just know she is watching over us and smiling , knowing how truly special she will always be and so very loved!
RIP Precious Ruby.
You are loved and missed more than you could ever know!
Also , your mommy thanks you for sending her Pretty to keep her company , so she will not be so lonely anymore.
I am sorry I didn't post sooner.
I have not been on this site in a long time.
I also lost my Shadow back in April.
Husband is also very ill , too much sadness right now.
I miss TCS .Everyone is so warm and friendly here. You don't find that too often.
Again , so sorry about Ruby!
She was so loved by everyone!

Loving Mickey : Nice to see you again. Sorry though that it was here in this sad thread. Your words made me cry, btw. Especially the "it was our Ruby" part. So many other members have posted something similar, and it warms my heart knowing how much of an impression my sweet cat had on so many others. She was a true people lover, and would have loved every single member here, if she'd ever met them.

Since you mention the Santa picture, I'll post it here for you, and everyone else. It always made me smile too. There was probably about 2 seconds between the first and second pic. LOL

Condolences on the loss of your Shadow. And sorry to hear your husband is very ill. Sending love and hugs your way.

I really wasn't intending to post today, even though of course I noted the date being the 9th of the month. But I was going through some pictures from last winter, when I was doing jigsaw puzzles, and came across this one from Jan 9th, so it seemed like it was a sign telling me I had to mark today, the 8th month since she's been gone.

Here's my sweet angel from last January. At that point she was on hyperthyroid meds, and was doing ok. Little did I know what would happen over the next few months. Miss you baby girl. Wish I could have made you well again.
