Has anybody ever tried roasted cinnamon? I got to the grocery store today during lunch for a container of cinnamon. It's been ages since I bought spices and herbs at a grocery store; I am strictly a Penzey girl. So I was standing in the baking aisle looking for cinnamon and, there was roasted cinnamon! By McCormick. Hmmmm And, of course, it jumped right into my hand, made its way to the checkout and darted right into my car.
I'm going to try my luck at making sourdough sticky buns this weekend and well, it's as good a reason as any to try some roasted cinnamon. And I think it would be so yummy in bread pudding, too. I'm sure when Rick sees it, he's going to say, "Hey! What about trying it in snickerdoodles?"
