ha, yea. live ones.

He has shown no interested in the bugs last night. Which is fine by me, he doesn't NEED them, but it'd be nice to mix up his meals a bit

What do you do with them if he's not interested and where do you get them.
You should see my expression. I hate all insects.

This is an extraordinary shot!  Look at those eyelashes!!  And it looks like he's keen on a bit of bubbly ...

@Draco the geckos here are very soft and 'squelchy'.. is that what your guy is like?  It certainly looks like it with the picture of him eating his dinner.  They seem very stretchy and fragile compared to other lizards.

Thanks you two! The last shot is my favorite too!

They are fragile, I am still afraid to pick him up- I prefer to wait for him to climb on my fingers! Soft bodies. So tiny and light- he's only 9 grams!

I'm so sorry about Sandy.  I love your new guy, too.  Are they are hard to care for? I was wondering the same question about those adorable feet feel like.  Goodness, @Draco, you could be a professional photographer.

The feet feels like scotch tape, sticky!

I find they are easy to care for. I don't have to worry about feeding bugs. The hardest part is making sure the temp is right for them!

I love this guy- he has his own personality. I really enjoy photographing him. Plan on setting up a photo shoot box for him and have fun tomorrow lol

I discovered Petrie is a female. I guess she's a Petria?

Lol now I'm doubting myself and think she's a he again! It may be too young still To sex.

But he's still a diva!

thank you!

A few people asked me if they were squishy and squelchy.. they are.. and boy can they BOUNCE! Petrie slipped off the glass I was using to photoshoot with (oops), and he bounced on the floor, several inches up, and a few bounces before he settled. He's OK, but I guess that "Squelchy" body serves a purpose!

Flying Gecko!
