Yes, maybe; we shall see. Although I hate it, Iām keeping Merlin in the one room, just in case.Okay! Maybe good news for you! I would agree that you would think two cultures should have been done?
Hopefully it is something else other than ringworm reoccurring I had contacted the vets at Chewy where I purchase most of my pet supplies and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about ringworm. Recommended everything that I had read on the internet and they understood the seriousness of it being highly contagious to other animals and also myself. I then had solid information to go to my vet and advocate for what I needed to treat my animals.
I didnāt realize Chewy has vets one can communicate with. That was smart of you.
Iām bewildered by this vet. To say she thinks Iām going overboard! It reminded me of COVID deniers who wouldnāt wear a mask, but changed their tune when they got COVID. Plus she recommended this site and the cleaning protocol during the first ringworm bout
She said, āI have a friend with 3 cats and one got ringworm. She never separated them and the other 2 never got it.ā Right ā so one person doesnāt wear a mask and doesnāt get COVID, and so that means everyone is over-reacting.
I slept 2 hours late afternoon yesterday. Iād been so stressed. I dread a positive culture, but all I can do is wait. (I tried to have a culture done right at the beginning, but Merlin freaked out and actually urinated when I tried to get him in the carrier. So we didnāt make our appointment. And then he started living under the couch, so I decided to let him calm down for a week because his stress level is so high.)
Whatās happening with you? Post pet pics.
