Riley is a dork!

I recently got a water fountain for one of our cats who is having kidney issues. Riley, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is afraid of it and barks at it. All the others are fine with it, but he won't go near it. I still have numerous water bowls throughout the house.

Poor Riley, it must have a particular wavelength that hurts his ears. You don't have any way to muffle it, even maybe setting it on a folded over towel?

What if you turn it off just for a little while to see if he will go near or investigate it. Maybe it would peek Riley's curiosity if the water fountain wasn't running.

Yeah, it is something new to him. Maybe if he finds out it does not do him harm he'll have a change of heart.
