What brand of kitten food should I use for a rescued barn cat? Should I use dry or wet? kitten looks to be 9-10 weeks of age/ find the story on I found a feral semi-feral kitten

For a kitten? Feed both until the kitten is about a year old. Some kittens may decide they like canned better than dry in which case you can ditch the dry and just feed canned. A few 3 oz cans daily or a 5.5 oz can plus a little more is not unheard of for a growing hungry kitten. At a year old, switch to only canned if possible. A little dry in the diet is ok but canned is a lot healthier.Fancy Feast canned is a good inexpensive brand you can start with. Catinfo.org goes into more detail on nutrition. Ater being an out door cat wet mostly. I live in Texas so it is way too hot for a kitten to be outside with limited water. Canned shredded chicken in broth so something like fancy feast classics or natural white meat chicken or sheba perfect portions

Mostly accurate catfooddb.com. only a couple of the ff and sheba are good so always check the ingredients. No fish.
