Thank you for all you do! I still have folks in my family who refuse to fix their cat..she's 10 now...just had another litter a few months ago. makes me so flipping angry! :censored: just don't understand! :cloudy: And it makes your work so much harder!! Don't they understand the remaining animals have to fight to eat? They struggle to keep food on the table..but then say they give away the kittens and no issues...shake my head.

Thank you again for your dedication and support to help these helpless little fluff balls!:cloud9:

Lexie is here! She is rightfully exhausted. I did the math and she has raised somewhere close to 90-110 kittens. The owner said she normally has 6-7 kittens each litter. Poor momma.

Lexie is beautiful. She won't know what to do with herself once she raises these last kittens.

I'm so glad that the woman was willing to accept your help. Hopefully Lexie will have a small litter this time. :crossfingers:

Miss Lexie is getting HUGE! It is hard to get a good picture of her because she doesn't stay still for very long lol. I need to get my camera out and get a good picture of her. She is so sweet.

So for kitten spays/neuters we found a vet an hour and a half away who will do them at 2 lbs, most of the vets here won't do them until 4lbs and they are still triple the price. 2lbs is that normally like 10 weeks? I am trying to schedule a day for Remi and her kittens and then I am getting two kittens from a coworker who found a pregnant cat, so I would like to plan a trip soon, or at least get one on the schedule!

Two pounds can be at 8 weeks. That's average. Some kittens don't hit it until 10 or even 12 weeks. I favor spays/neuters for kittens between 10-12 weeks.

If that vet is cheaper and will do it earlier that's great. Is he/she highly recommended?

We have been to this vet before, this is just our first time planning a trip with a mom and litter so I wasn't sure what my best bet on guessing what age to take them would be!

Momma Remi is going to the vet tomorrow. (She is the one with 5 tabby kittens). She has had on and off diarrhea according to the foster. The picture she sent me off it looks like coccidian, we did a fecal but it didn't show anything. She is going for an exam and then I am sure the vet will send them home with albon and panacur... maybe metro.
