Oh no problem! I started this rescue, we aren't a 501c3 Nonprofit yet... I keep saying I am going to get to that but I am just so incredibly busy. We are just a couple of people and a few foster homes that are trying to change the lives of every animal we meet! Most of the funds come out of my pocket- I work about 60-70 hours a WEEK on top of rescue errands. We have a couple of very generous people who donate money towards vetting and supplies occasionally, they are priceless. We definitely have our ups and downs. Like right now I am incredibly stressed and probably won't get any sleep until this rescue run is done on Wednesday. But afterwards I know I am going to feel great about what we accomplished. It is just hard for me to see the big picture right now lol.

Because as many of you know I am a huge picture person, here are the pictures of some of the kittens we are taking on the rescue run on Wednesday! Note the ones that look really young- those are outdated pictures, but they were bottle babies too, so no issue of removing them from momma too early.

For those that like the puppy pictures these are three of the puppies that are definitely going! Again we are picking them up on the transport Tuesday and they are going to the other rescue on Wednesday

These 5 are small adult dogs, pending approval from the other rescue we may be pulling them!

This week has been incredibly stressful. I will finally be able to relax when they call today around noon and let us know if everyone was accepted. Kyle is driving, it is 4 hours there and 4 hours back. I am unable to go because I am headed back home for Thanksgiving. I have only gotten a few hours of sleep the last few days between work, picking up kittens and puppies and then yesterday we had to meet transport from the shelter where we were pulling 10 kittens and the Doxie mix adult dogs. Then had to vaccinate everyone yesterday. This morning at 5am we will pack everyone up and get ready to go! The three bottle babies we pulled from the shelter are too small to go so they will be staying here with us. We also got the "pregnant " dilute tortie yesterday too. I dont think she is pregnant currently, her nipples are small and normal looking... but I only got a quick look because we have been so stinking busy.
I can't wait until all of this is over and we know if everyone was accepted! One of the doxie mixes looks to have a flea allergy and has hair loss, I am thinking they are going to send him back. The shelter said they would take back any dogs that are not accepted.

I hope everyone is accepted.

Why did they think the tortie was pregnant if her nipples are small? Has she already had a litter?

I hope you get some rest soon! You need to watch that you don't get too run down and get sick.

She has had 5 litters in the past two years :( She has a little belly, but I think she is just wormy... I guess we will see! We will treat her like she is for now!

Good grief! Given the strain on her poor little system, pregnant or not, the extra care and nutrition can't do anything but good!

Here is our potentially pregnant lady!

I am still torn, her belly does pop out at the sides a little and is a little firm... but her nipples look normal... I guess we shall see!

OMG...if Hekitty were stray or feral, she would look SO like that, right down to the "fingernail" of white at the top of that orange ruff!
