Yeah. But she wore it so well. Cats are so much lovelier than humans would be in similar circumstances, aren't they?I was holding back. There’s this skinny shaved shot from 2020 that shows how much weight she has already lost to as of yet untreated GI lymphoma.

Well, catting isn't always easy, as Krista could tell anyone. This "not eating" stuff is inexcusable!!! When a cat wants to eat, A CAT WANTS TO EAT and that's all there is to it, even if, as Hollywood said, "Father Knows Best."January 15, 2019:

2020:
Back at the vet’s office before dawn because it was one of those “starve the gremlin” visits and after four hours of telling mine she wasn’t going to eat, I drove her down as soon as they opened. A few minutes before. Hence the loose cat in the car waiting for the handoff.
And, she’d come back a poop cat in a box.

You probably won't read this, B Beholder but I'm sorry to see you go and hope you'll reconsider. There are ToS for good reasons, not all of them clear at all times to us. I always go on the premise that someone else's website is someone else's website and it's out of their good graces that I am able to visit and utilize it. Agree or disagree, it's a community but it does have a president or leader, so to speak, and we need to respect that. Having been a TCS member since 2006, I can say that while I may not always agree or understand the "why" of something, I love spending time here and would not want that to change.Best of luck tarasgirl06 and daftcat75 . Admin did something that really frustrated me, so I will not be returning or posting here again. tarasgirl06 You are a really amazing human! Thanks for always being so loving and positive. You know how to turn any lovely photo of Krista into a positive one. daftcat75 I really hope good things for you in the furture. You're insanely knowledgeable and I know any cat would be amazingly lucky to have you as their owner. Bye guys.
Home. Only smaller. Looks comfy! All mod cons, too. Krista: MY bagel? MY BAGEL!!! But I'll gladly share. I'll just slide the lox off and then I'll lick it clean of cream cheese. You don't have to thank me. *Amazing. There's actually a bagel!*January 16, 2019:
She’s home! I set up cat jail and two crates for her not knowing how well she’d get on if I had to leave her. She did great. We spent exactly one night in cat jail together before I let up on her.

In other news, it looks like her appetite was getting better.

Im sure Krista would have loved the salmon too. Her regular dry food for a dozen years was Chicken and Salmon flavor. She loved salmon oil. I never shared my food with her though (except a brief period where I would let her clean the scrambled eggs bowl.) I didn’t want to leave her with the impression that that was ever an option. Sharing water glasses was another story.Home. Only smaller. Looks comfy! All mod cons, too. Krista: MY bagel? MY BAGEL!!! But I'll gladly share. Elvis turns up his nose at salmon. He's a very strange catto IMHO. He's not that wild about tuna, either. Basically he's a chicken lover. He liked turkey when he joined us, but he seems to have gone off it. He's pretty much into Blue Buffalo's Wilderness Red Meat Feast, which has beef, venison, and some other guys that I can't check on right now because I have a cat on my lap Baby Su is a lot more tolerant about food choices. And she's the better eater, even though she's svelte and Elvis kind of resembles a soft blue blimp on four legs right now.Im sure Krista would have loved the salmon too. OMC the little CATFEET! *You know how I feel about THOSE.* Very fine china, and I like the big cat cousin elegance. And the hat.
When the going gets tough, the colorful find refuge and comfort.
