“Maybe if I bear my beans and belly, I can get him to take a break and show me some love.”"And after a long, hard day at work, the refined feline prefers to recline, as cutely and irresistibly as possible."
*It's a PAWSibility, Krista beauty!*“Maybe if I bear my beans and belly, I can get him to take a break and show me some love.”
That's what you get for keeping your photos in so many places. I should know, as I do it too.December 7, 2019:

And this one shows up as 2020. That’s not right. But honestly, I’ve seen so many different dates attributed to this here and Instagram and Apple and Google Photos that it’s become literally timeless.

Best guess is between 2005 and 2013.
Krista: No, I'm not much on TV. Especially the flatscreens. No place to curl up and get warm. Pretty useless, if you ask me. But this nice soft place, on the other paw...OH, YEAH!!!A couple from the Favorites folder since today is another dry day over the years.
Both are from the nebulous 2005 to 2013 period where time stamps cannot be trusted.

Pretty sure the first picture is her inserting herself between me and the movie I was watching on the laptop. "Okay. Gotta pay the tax if I want to continue the movie."Krista: No, I'm not much on TV. Absolutely. It's like those old hotel/motel TVs where you had to keep feeding it coins to watch. *You can pay me in wabbit, Dad.*Pretty sure the first picture is her inserting herself between me and the movie I was watching on the laptop. "Okay. Gotta pay the tax if I want to continue the movie."
She didn't even know about rabbit at this time. She was eating Newman's Own Chicken and Brown Rice kibble for pretty much her whole life (at least those years with me) until she had teeth removed before her 13th birthday. At the time, I had no idea that dentally-challenged cats could still eat kibble. I also didn't know that you're supposed to transition diets slowly. Nor did I know that most kibble-fed cats are stubborn about kibble. Krista switched to wet food literally overnight. While the vet was removing her first batch of teeth (mostly molars and pre-molars), I was throwing out her kibble and picking up some wet food choices from the supermarket. I guess I lucked out that she just took to the new food like she'd been eating it for years. It's a shame that her IBD was already presenting at this point. I wonder how much better her life would have been if she was eating a diverse number of wet foods rather than a single dry food for all those years. NC will be so spoiled!Absolutely. ...and Krista will be looking down very proudly and happily. Because she knows that, no matter how brilliant the hooman, (s)he IS still a hooman, after all. But hoomans are trainable. So there I was, calmly going about my daily work, when *BAM!* I get HIT in the FEELS with the SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENESS of Krista nose and chin and it's not fair. I'm useless now. Completely useless. And it's all your fault.
Just the sweetest face! And those little cathands!!!We haven’t seen the last of Dec 10. It will be the gift that keeps giving on dry days.
