Busy day for hiding in a condo.

I believe this is the debut of this camera angle. Sadly, this would also be the beginning of the end. I would not have moved a camera to this location if she wasn’t spending more and more time in this condo. 😿

Educating Miss Krista. Elevated food dish sitting on top of an organic chemistry textbook. I’m sure some of the knowledge in its pages seeped into her food through osmosis. The same way it got in my head when I’d fall asleep in its pages. 😴😹

*...but are you certain Krista didn't already possess all of the knowledge in the book already? Cats are extremely wise, you know.*

I am so sorry for your loss and am sending virtual hugs your way. I understand how tragic loosing a loved cat is. I lost my first cat a little after my daughter was born he was 17 and had lived with hyperthyroidism for the last 7 years of his life. His name was Boo, he was a tabby point siamese mix with a tail as long as my index finger. The loss was devastating and at times still is. I keep a box with his photo albums, tags, collars and although this may be odd to some; loose wiskers he lost over time and even a small tuff of fur he lost from being scratched by our mesquite tree. 20190720_081015.jpg

daftcat75 daftcat75 Krista: "I've got it made in the shade!" :hearthrob: :kneading: :hearthrob:
illa_wen illa_wen Boo was very handsome! IMHO keeping whiskers is not "strange" at all, as I've done it for yonks. I've never counted the number, but it's significant and many, many loved ones have contributed to it.
I'm glad to hear that! My sister gave me a hard time about it when Boo was alive so glad to hear this is something others do as well.

I have fur and teeth of Krista’s. Neither are really intentional. In her senior years when she was having tooth resorption, the vets sent me home with vials of teeth or tooth fragments after her more straightforward extractions. I kept them more out of a sense of, “I might appreciate these later,” rather than an attachment to them then. Or now. And the fur, it’s still around the home. In the cat trees. Probably in the carpet. Like glitter and my love for Krista, cat hair is forever. 😹😻
