*No fair, Krista! No one is allowed to be that cute. That blep!!!*
The hand-over-the-eyes thing gets me every time.
What is it about sleeping cats that I could stare at them forever

*Melts in puddle of SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* *And I suppose the long white stocking with the adorable beans is thrown in with the deal, right?*
That was pretty much every time I saw her for from the first time I saw her. And why a year on since she passed, the time we spend each morning reconnecting this day across the years is some of my favorite time of every day.*Melts in puddle of SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* *And I suppose the long white stocking with the adorable beans is thrown in with the deal, right?*
Well of COURSE!That was pretty much every time I saw her for from the first time I saw her. And why a year on since she passed, the time we spend each morning reconnecting this day across the years is some of my favorite time of every day.
Btw, #4, the one eye open, is my favorite of the four. She was always such a flirt!
A nice nap in a cool, soft place. Some good food. Now THIS is the life!
*Pure comfort!* Krista looks very contented in her soft and cozy den.
Hopefully the new person will receive a lot of good energy from his new desk. I would think so. And even if nothing else, he has a nice desk now.Bittersweet moment today. I finally found someone to take my old desk off of me.

I had actually upgraded my office last December. But I had been waiting on the vaccine before letting anyone come over to pick it up. And then I had just been dragging my feet about it. But lately, I’ve been becoming more active again. And I realize I can use some of that living room space in front of the mirror if there wasn’t an unused desk in the way. I put it up for free on Nextdoor and got 6 replies in under a minute. Fortunately the first one was no trouble and I just finished helping him load it in his jeep. And off it went. From Nextdoor posting to out the door: less than 24 hours.
Krista spent so much time on that desk surface keeping me company at work. Every day working from home is Bring Your Cat To Work Day. (Or Bring Your Work To Cat Day )

More often, though, she was there to enforce a break. She’d sit in her “filling station” and demand full service before she would move on.

There’s not been a week since she’s passed that I wonder what she would have thought about the new desk, the new office, or any number of changes. I know there’s far less surface on the new desk. Me and the new cat will have to work that out when the time comes. Maybe she’ll get a shelf next to the desk…

No, not "some other cat" at all. She knows what's good and she knows how to get it.July 8, 2019:
