From my new Instagram account. (I still have the Krista account too.) Most of the posts may have limited crossover interest. But when I learned there was more than one card to be had of cats on the field, I have found a new collection focus. 😹🐈🏟
I found another one this morning.

I for one want LOTS more of those, and I want followups with happy outcomes of every one of these cats and kittens finding loving permanent persons/families and homes!:yess:

This article is about the cat whose card I found on eBay this morning. Unfortunately, it's an auction rather than a buy-it-now so I have to wait until the clock runs out on Monday. I have also discovered the bobblehead of the groundskeeper with the cat that's mentioned early in this article. That's on my watchlist. I have to watch my budget through a card show weekend before I decide to make that purchase.

It's amazing that Krista enjoyed her free-roaming car rides so much! And that looks like a nice soft sweater (or blanket?) to nap on.
She never had free-roam while the car was moving. Any and every car picture you see of Krista was taken in a parked car.

That said, that back window and above the steering wheel are the highest points inside the car. The equivalent of the top of the fridge. 😹

Blanket. That blanket was brought from home specifically for that purpose. 😻

Good on ya! Of COURSE. Yeah, just like Jackson Galaxy points out, some cats are Tree Dwellers! and Krista certainly exemplified this although she could also be a Bush Dweller or a Savannah Prowler. Very nice blanket!

Well, Krista knew, I'm sure, that that Agent Orange never met an animal he liked or wanted protected.
As for Star Trek, Roddenberry was a good guy way before his time and so I'm pretty sure Krista did love the show, even if she did nap through it. :cloud9::hearthrob::zzzcat::hearthrob:🚀👨‍🚀👩‍🚀 *Well, whaddya want? It's the best we can do*

Honestly I fall asleep to one Star Trek series or another every night for a long time now. It’s one of those shows that I can watch and it’s good sleepy time storytelling. Or it can be easy watching in the mornings before work with my coffee. Except the new series Picard and Discovery. Those are so involved that I have to dedicate time and attention to them. I can’t do my normal TV in the background and whatever I’m doing on the phone or tablet. 🤦🏼‍♂️ Now that baseball season is over, I have a lot of time and attention to focus on these shows now. The Orville, which I consider more tribute than rip-off, is another I enjoy and look forward to the upcoming new season. There’s also Lower Decks and Prodigy. It will be a busy off-season for Star Trek.

And there’s the most recent season of Atypical on Netflix that I still haven’t watched. I was saving it for after baseball season. But now I’ve gotten into old seasons of American Horror Story that I hadn’t seen yet. 🤦🏼‍♂️😆📺

Never a dull moment with so many choices! I'm still with Dish and I have Netflix DVD because I usually like international films better than US ones. Nature, murder porn, archaeology, paleontology, and a lot of other "-ologies" plus PBS here. I only have the TV on in the evenings to watch and relax to, and a little news at lunch *SO good for the digestion, yes?!!* but I do fall asleep just about every night with it on. Fortunately my TV always asks me if I'm "still here?" and if I don't respond, it shuts itself off.

SO adorable! :hearthrob::kneading::hearthrob:Krista probably not as big a fan of the dentist as I am, but managing to look irresistible nonetheless!

This was an easy visit for her (the two hour drive each way notwithstanding.) The dentist came in with his camera wanting to snap shots of his handiwork. Krista had other thoughts. She started growling at him from the moment he sat down next to her. Mustering up all the courage necessary to stick a finger into an angry toothless cat’s mouth, he pulled her mouth open long enough to take a look around—not more than a second or two—and proclaimed, “It all looks great. I wanted pictures. She wanted otherwise. There is no charge for this visit.” And that was the shortest dentist visit ever. 😹👍

The dentist was two hours away and that drive can be brutal during traffic hours. Our appointments both dates were 7am. So as not to put myself or Krista through the stress of an early morning two hour drive and then two hours back afterwards, we drove up the midday before and got a room. Good thing too. Our consultation appointment in the morning turned into a procedure appointment in the afternoon on the first visit. This would not have been practical if I was driving up and back on the same day. For this return visit, after getting the five second poke in the mouth and a 👍, I dropped her back off at the hotel. Left her parked in front of the impeachment trials while I grabbed breakfast. Then a bit later, I went out for a soup, sandwich, and a pint of microbrew beer. It was soup and sandwich weather. The first trip was focused on her. The second trip I got some me-time since her portion of the trip was done by 8am. 😹

Hope she enjoyed the proceedings.
That was great that the dentist did not charge your or your growly toothless cat. :yess: A little mini-vacation with some good food? Sounds nice.I vaguely remember those.
