May 5, 2019:
She gets her 15th birthday present. Whether it be the hospital stay she had earlier this year or arthritis catching up to her, she was losing a little on her hops.

This is the “before”. This jenky setup intended to bridge media bench and tree. It’s no wonder she never touched it. 🤦🏼‍♂️

We got the Katris pieces a day or two before. I unpacked the full set and made a quick shape.

Krista tests the Katris.

Well. It seems like I had a new visitor today. I came back from my run and saw a tail swishing on my deck. She ran off as soon as I opened the door. Probably too soon to judge. But maybe more feral than stray.
I’ll be checking my cloud recordings over the last few days to see if she’s been showing up before today.

Smaller than my Cabbie. She appears to be about the same size or maybe a bit smaller than Krista. That's why I presume she's a she. She's definitely smaller than OC/Buddy who is built like a tiny orange pit bull.

Could be a teenage boy, though, too.
My sweet Calo angel was bowlegged in front and barrel-chested and so I called him, "the Bullcat." His personality was very calm and laid back. I first met him when he turned up in my yard two locations ago, with two other cats. They were "an item" and he was always their guardian. He and Rojita were adopted by us. Tim was accepted into Best Friends, successfully treated for a skin condition and adopted by a wonderful woman in Vancouver, B.C. who became and still is a friend of ours. She gave him the low-light luxe life he needed, as an all-white cat.

Aw. My Juli’s a licker too. Loves them little licks! They’re like little kisses from the sweet baby Jesus 🤗
Krista was an avid licker. She would often leave wet spots on my clothes, blankets, or couches from one of her grooming sessions. Then she started having dental problems in 2018. She's missing a few teeth in this video. But it wasn't until the next big round of extractions in January of 2019 that something changed in her mouth. Her licking had all but disappeared. 😿 Whenever she did lick me after that, I always made sure to thank her 😻 because I knew she must be licking me through some kind of discomfort.

The UNCONDITIONAL loyalty and love of a cat! Through thick and thin, in sickness and in health...it's what we all say we want. And it is found in CATS. :redheartpump:

I haven’t seen my tortie visitor since Thursday. 😔

The moment where her curiosity brought her to inquire at the door. I opened the door and she spooked. 🤦🏼‍♂️

But she sauntered. She didn't run. So she's not scared. At least not to a high level.

She sauntered from under the chair to check out the door. She scurried under the fence at the end of that video.
