Rehydrating freeze dried raw

It's a quick under the water to rehydrate, not a full soak. I asked my vet about it and she didn't seem to think it would ruin anything. She also exclusively feeds her pets raw.

But won’t it cook the food? And kill the nutrients? Can this be done with raw freeze dried..? I wouldn’t do this personally

Sorry, I should have been more clear. It's not a full soak in the hot water, it's a quick run over. I mentioned it to my vet and she didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with this method (she exclusively feeds her pets raw).

I agree: I don't even use warm water, only cold/cool.
