Registered TICA male munchkin breeding

Good day

I am a new cattery. I have an 17 month male munchkin and several females of various breeds.
The male is trying to mate but he ends up missing the target and humps the low back area of my females. He is heathy and in good Spirits. The last few days he is not even interested in one of my females who has been thru three heat cycles and she is over one year old.

help?? Any ideas on how to get my male to become William Tell and hit the target?

He is young, he will learn. I hope someone with a little more experience will come on. I hope you don't plan on breeding those poor females into endless litters, there are so many that need homes!

I appreciate your concern for the many cats or there. I plan to do my very humanely. My cats run freely, not caged.

Over the last 25 years I rescued over 15000 cats, kittens, puppies, birds, hamsters, ferrets, and yes, even a horse.

Now the problem is I really don't want to wait for him to decide what you doing. Looking for a different answer that may make sense.

He may allow you to reposition him. My boy will not and I am despairing of him ever hitting the target!
