M maggiedemi , just FYI in case, cable wrap - Newegg.com
There's nothing exactly like what I'm thinking of here, but there are a lot of "cable wraps", most of them being $$$ but there's a lot of coverage there.
Yeah, that is an excellent idea. I think I saw that trick on one of Jackson Galaxy's episodes, or could have been in one of the articles here on TCS, re. protecting the wires using cable wraps. The split wire loom aren't too expensive. You could also use a few small zip ties here and there along the line to keep it closed if needed.

cable wrap - Google Search

Solid is good! He is so handsome.

SANTI sends his thanks! Told him not to get big headed, though! That ain't gonna get you out of trouble kid! ... lol

He is pretty stout. He did take care of himself and his kitted for a month, prior to stepping in to give them a hand! I figured he was 8, 9 months old (there abouts, anyways), as DOC figures he's around a year old. He was also fighting off the adult grey cat. I think I mentioned, his back and sides had a bunch of scabs, and I could see where fur was missing.

Tough kid!

His hormones may take a little longer to quiet down -- it hasn't been that long, actually! and as a young cat -- still a kitten, really -- it's natural for him to have that high energy, neuter or not.
They have some cable wraps at IKEA, too, if y'all are close to one -- but I couldn't find them on the site when I looked. I know they have them, though, because they featured them in their catalogue a few times.

I don't see any IKEA in Upstate NY. That's probably more like down by NYC.
Brooklyn, Elizabeth, NJ, Hicksville, NY, and Paramus, NJ; also in Baltimore, MD and College Park, MD. They will do online orders on some things, but you'd have to check on the item.

And A azpops , they have one in Tempe.

It’s not always easy. Lol Santi would be welcome for Mitten camp but I think he is better off just settling in with you. I know you won’t enjoy the claws but do enjoy the kitten in him. He will calm with time. As for the cords..... yeah! I lost a couple of charger cords to my phone even though one was in a drawer. That was enough for me. They are all heavily encased in the only thing I had on hand at that moment. Electrical tape. Not the prettiest solution but it worked. Cats and cords are safe. Ha! I keep an extra cord for my phone tucked away for travel so no one wonders about the tape. I figure the airlines might think it odd. Lol

Yeah, I see it while driving to Tucson! It's a good thing the kid doesn't play with wires! He loves chasing the wand though! ... :thumbsup: ... And he also loves his Yellow Banana Cat Nip toy! ... :thumbsup:

Well. I check back and no music?!?!! Someone tipped me off to a tune I had not heard and it made me think of all of you guys. They told me about it after a long discussion about their rescued cat. This is a song they feel reflects what has gone on with them and kitty. Maybe Santi can relate too. Lol It is by Doug and the Slugs. It’s, “Day by Day”. I tracked it down on YouTube. I liked it and thought I would pass it on. Upbeat vibes. (Did you threaten Santi with Mitten camp? Hope it worked!)

Yeah, great song!

OK, here's one fur yous! BUT, don't blame us, if this tune gets stuck in your head! ... :lol: :lol:

Anonymous ... :insertevillaugh:

BTW, Anonymous can't seem to find his wallet. So I guess he can't send the kid anywhere till he finds it! Wonder if he's got something to do with it? Dang, Kid!

Anyways, remember these guys?

To keep it on topic, how is Santi doing? We need an update.

Did I post this Gary Allan song yet?
"If we're talkin 'bout a heartache, it would be you" :D

And The Gambler, best song ever:

I Need You, LeAnn Rimes (love the falsetto voice):

M maggiedemi ; Santi's doing well! I figured his fur was just the course type, but I guess with a little TLC, his fur is getting really soft.

Country music always reminds me of, what did they say? Reference was something about a dog, an ex, or was it a car? ... LOL

OK, changed my mind!

That's great about Santi's coat getting softer. Maggie's coat feels really silky, like an angel.

Do you like country music? I love the story songs, like this one:

Here's my all-time favorite slow song. It's kind of country/pop:

Best country duet ever:

Great songs! I like this fun song!

One of my favorite duets is this one;

While i was in Vegas, I went to a breakfast place in one of the Downtown Casino's dinners. All we were doing was killing some time. Anyways, we were directed to a seating / waiting area for a table. I sat, turned to my right, and there he was. We looked at the same time, then ask, "Mr. Neslon?". ... LOL

Love all of Julio's songs;

I can listen to him, all day!

Yup, gonna use music to settle the kid down! Actually he's doing very well!

Do you really get Santi to sleep at night with music? That's so cool. I should try that. I don't even know if my cats like music or not. I never asked them. ;)
I remember that Cotton Eyed Joe song from my days of going to dance clubs every weekend! I think it was a different version though.

If you like Julio, you'll like his son!:

Best Shakira dance song:

Here's the Spanish version:

M maggiedemi ; Actually he has a radio in his room, tuned to a light Jazz station since he's been with me. I was thinking, but it ain't gonna happen, re. getting him his own stereo with a multi CD player. .... LOL

BTW, that first Shakira song reminded me of these photos I took while on a project (this was the same project we were on where we took cared of Sugarfoot).

If you look close, the nest is at the end of the tower, with one of the parents sitting on the tower;

The other pair;

Got lucky with this air shot;

One day I looked up, saw a small fluff ball sitting on the side of the nest. If we (me and Baby, after Baby passed, it was Harlee) got too close to the tower, the two would get real vocal. Then one day they were gone. However, they return to the same nest site, every year!
