Realized that I never introduced myself+ new kitten 🐱

Hi! Long time cat lady here! My first cat came home when I was 3 yrs old and I’ve never been without a Kitty since. I’m 32, and live in NY (on the island) with my SO and 2 kids. We share our space with 3 floofs. Floof 1 is Gambit who is a tuxedo shelter rescue and 11 yrs old. He was adopted as a kitten then abused and dumped back at the shelter. He has anxiety, allergies, and ptsd with certain objects. Floof 2 is a 3 yr old tuxedo boy who was caught in a fence at 5 weeks. He was bottle fed by me and is a total mushball. Floof 3 is our new addition!! My SO found her in the dumpster at work while he was tossing the trash. We named her Zoe and the vet thinks she’s between 8 and 10 weeks.

Awwww! I love it that you saved them all and what lovely and sweet faces! So very cute! The “riding on the back” photo made me laugh. I get that too. You ended up with a lot of black and white. Bailey adores back rides. Gambit loves shoulder cuddles but as soon a I pick up Bailey and goes right to my neck and back!

I really love the personality of black and whites- they are nosy and loud and so unique. Gambit at the shelter was the “water cat”- he would dash through the cat area and slam the faucet on anytime someone shut it off!

Slam the faucet on? You really should start a thread about these kitties! We all love to hear love stories! I have three black rescues and one black and white, along with a few other kitties. My black and white is .... to say the least, very amusing. I have a couple of back riders too. I bet you could tell us some great kitty stories. The ones here do enough to keep lots of people amused and keep me hopping! If you start a thread, make sure to let me know!
