Raw butt

Emma and her digestive problems....

Well, no puking for 24 hours. Good sign. Do other people's kitties get raw butt right after they poo? Emma occasionally has a red butt with a little blood (not enough to drip or even notice unless you look). It goes away soon after but does look sore. Again, no complaints from her. Normal? Or just one more thing to add to her problems lately?

2 things come to mind. If it is runny, then that would be an aggrivation. If the poop is too hard and dry, then that's another. If it's on the hard side, I would start giving her some corn oil or the omega fatty acids. You can also use any of the hairball formulas as well. If it is runny, you need to figure out the cause and get it taken care of.
