Rare Coat Pattern?

Hello everybody!! I recently adopted a kitten and was hoping to learn as much as possible about cat care, that's what brought me to TheCatSite! I was hoping someone could help me by giving me a little bit of information about my cat. Long hair? Short hair? Possibly breed? Thank you all for your help! P.S. I was told he was a ragdoll mix?

He's cute! He'd be called a black and white bicolor (in the harlequin pattern) Domestic Shorthair.
