I bought some ground rabbit yesterday and gave a bit to my guy raw, he loved it, the rest I made into burgers, cooked medium well in only a bit of water to use over the next few days. I figured rabbits are part of a normal cat diet and it will be a good supplement to his wet food in gravy.

Rabbit muscle meat is a great addition if you're keeping it under 10% of his food as a treat and not cooking any bones. Over 10% and you'll need to add calcium, organs and a few supplements. If it's "pet food" ground rabbit, it may contain bones and organs.

Just ground rabbit for humans like ground beef. He seems to like it. Just as an addition he still has wet cat food.

That's really good as a treat. ;)

A lot of members here buy the whole ground rabbit from Hare Today, with meat, bones, organs, fur and all. So I wasn't sure what you purchased.
