Yes, usually itns not problem, esp with a friendly girl. But when they are in high protection mode, whom wanna to risk anything? You can even get yourself both scratchees and and even bites, if maximally unlucky.

I will :). She leaves the nest for food and cuddles but I haven't heard the babies cry out for her today, she is spending most of her time there and I can hear her purring when she goes in there, like you say I want to leave her alone but do you think their ok?
Would she still be going under there if something was wrong?

I feel sure they are fine. Try to relax and let mom do her thing. :)
