Good morning and Happy Whiskers Wednesday! Did you know that January 22nd is "Come In From The Cold Day?" The phrase, come in from the cold, means to warm yourself up by coming inside on a cold, blustery day and warming your body up with a hot drink. We've been having temps below zero here so the thought of a warm drink on a bitterly cold day sounds divine.

WHAT IS YOUR CHOICE OF A WARM DRINK ON A COLD DAY?

I love coffee and drink it black to get the full flavor. If there was a coffee god or goddess I would probably worship it. I must have inherited my love of coffee from my mom. She would have it each and every day and when I went into the kitchen first thing in the morning I could smell the aroma. ☕

I love to have my 2 cups of coffee in the morning, hazelnut creamer and a touch of sugar.Any other time of the day,it's hot decaf if possible tea for me,with a little sugar. My son and daughter in law keep me well stocked in just about any flavor you can think of for teas,so I always have a big choice.

Tea (white with sugar), coffee (white with sugar) or hot chocolate (made entirely with milk). NB we don't have "whiteners" or "creamers" as in the US - it's milk of whatever sort, whether added to water or the whole drink made of it.

These are my year-round drinks. I'll occasionally have a cold coffee made of milk, but not iced - I don't care for ice cubes - at home in hot weather, but that's it.

Hot chocolate with a to , yes a ton of whipped cream. Whip cream container must be available to top off. Oh heck, just a tub of whipped cream is fine actually.
