Good morning and Happy Whiskers Wednesday! It’s getting to be that time of year when many of us celebrate the holiday season, each in their own way with different traditions. For me personally it’s a time to be with close friends and family whose company I appreciate.

A fun question for today:
WOULD YOU RATHER DECORATE A TREE OR A COOKIE?

Since I like to bake I prefer to decorate cookies. I usually make peanut butter cookies with holiday M&M's and icing.

The tree. I used to bake but it isn't something that I really enjoy. I find decorating cookies tedious. After a few cookies I am pretty much done with the decorating.

Tree! Cookies are a close second, LOL! The upside to decorating a tree is that it's less messy. Usually. Depends if the cats supervise

Tree too, too much mess to clean up with cookies. Though I do bake a lot around Christmas!

I watch the Holiday Cookie challenge on tv---I absolutely love how creative and skillful those cookie decorators are! I love to decorate Christmas cookies which is kind of ironic because I do not like frosting. I'm not very good at decorating the cookies but it's fun to do!

Yuck. Neither. Sorry to be a party pooper. But I hate dessert & I hate clutter. I would rather spend my time crafting an elaborate cappuccino flavor. Either at home or Tim Hortons.

tree kinda imposible with a nosey cat around getting in the wayi cant bake gf cant be trusted to not burn the cookies and smoke our place out

This is a tough question! Decorating the tree is more sentimental because of all my old ornaments, but decorating cookies is more delicious because of icing and sprinkles.

It's a tie.

Both! The cookbook section of the library is next to the comics DS was looking at so I was just browsing some Christmas cookbooks as if I don’t already make too many. And then I collect ornaments so theres several trees to decorate at my house.

My husband's neighbor growing up could have been on that show and won. She was an unbelievable baker and her Christmas cookies were so beautifully decorated they looked too good to eat.

That is a tough one as I am pretty bad at decorating anything properly. I would have a better shot at the tree as I believe that baking is really a matter of knowing chemistry, not to mention the skill required to decorate.

I watch all the Food Network holiday decorating shows and marvel at what some of those people can do.

Probably a tree, because it looks nice all throughout the season but cookies tend to be devoured very quickly.

Actually...neither.We don't do the tree thing anymore,and I don't mind baking at all but decorating them?Nope!

That's why I use the holiday M&M's or Hershey kisses and a little icing. I don't have the patience anymore to do elaborate decorations.

I used to decorate the tree when we had one, which would be over thirty years ago. I enjoyed that. I've never decorated food in my life, nor do I want to.
