Greetings! Happy first Tuesday of May And of course a Happy Cinco De Mayo as well.

If there was a day in your honor, what would people do to celebrate?








I would probably like a nice Historical Costume Festival, where people are encouraged to wear all sorts of period costumes from all eras and from all parts of the world. Throw in lot's of music, food vendors, Folk dance performances and shopping boutique stands - with Fireworks at night and a symphony performance outside under the stars. Not asking for too much and totally makes sense, right?


But a happy Kitty Festival wouldn't be too shabby either!

My birthday is already Hug Your Cat Day, so it only seems appropriate to continue with the cat theme and then include a lot of books and reading.

Hmm.... They'd probably eat foods from my hometown (stuff I can't get here). They'd read books and pet cats. It would probably be a pretty low key day; except for all the eating. They might plant some flowers or veggies and feed the birds too.

A day to honor me would involve hot sauce, hot peppers, vegetarian foods, pasta, coffee, cats, llamas, and music.

It would definitely involve the outdoors, walking along the lake followed by dining al fresco.

I'd like it if people could have an Outdoors Appreciation Day.

Do some gardening, pick up the litter in your neighbourhood, go for a walk, plant a tree or just sit outside in a park and listen to the birds sing.
