What's something you're a pro at but couldn't make a career in?





I have this uncanny ability to be able to predict what song will play next, whether on the radio or on shuffle in a Spotify playlist. Cool trick I suppose but not particularly money inducing And I am talking about when there is a A LOT of songs. Maybe a gardener as well - perhaps in another country I could make a proper stable career out of it but not so much where I am. Thankfully my other skills (History, Dance etc) I have made into careers, phew!

I just don't know why they don't call me to send in plays? Makes no sense.....

Several years ago, when I was teaching middle school math, I had a sign on the wall behind my teacher's desk that said Buffalo Bills Assistant Coach. The first day of school, a student came up to my desk, pointed at the sign, and said "For real?"

Everyone calls me for a referral whether a plumber, electrician, HVAC, doctor, dentist, beautician, vet, car mechanic, etc. I could probably start my own business except word of mouth referrals don't make any money;

I used to draw well, but not at a professional level. I knit very well, but no way would I want to make it a profession. I don't like turning things I do for pleasure into chores

Among my friends, I'm an Apple Computer 'expert', as is my friend, Laurie. Her husband is the Mac pro, LOL! Otherwise, I'm the bird whisperer. I can transfer birds to other cages without touching them, LOL!

Metal detecting in the water. I have found a number of beautiful and expensive items but not enough to ever live off of it.

Writing. Except the writing part. I have some amazing stories in my head that I’ve come up with over the years. When I try writing them down…its hard!! They don’t just flow. Like taking a movie and then writing the book.

Definitely this and it happens with kitchen utensils as well if I am making something that requires some effort.

Organizing, making lists and charts, and throwing things out. I love to get rid of things.
