Why don't they allow tattoos?

Tattoos are considered "antisocial", "impure", and are associated with the yakuza (Japanese mafia). A long time ago, they were used to punish criminals, so they were always marked with their crime, and the distaste for them has continued.

I can't swim. Fear of the water. I tried taking lessons several times and just couldn't do it. Haven't been to the beach in a long time either, and especially now, but I would wear a one piece suit. Too much of me to try to stuff into a bikini.

I knew about the association with Yakuza but I didn’t realise the other aspects!

I wonder what crimes I would have had to commit to get the tattoos I’ve got today! Looks like I definitely stole some roses at some point...

A bakini, especially on a very hot day - it's more refreshing than a swimsuit and I often find that swimsuits don't suit my body's build.
