Do you have loyalty to one grocery store or do you shop at various stores depending on what's available or on sale?

I would say that my main grocery store is Hy-Vee, but I shop at Aldi and Trader Joe's for specific things or if something at Hy-Vee isn't on sale. Another grocery store in my area is Cub, but I don't shop there that much unless they have a good deal on something (it usually ends up being good deals on pop that gets me into the store).

I shop at a number of different stores - independent produce stores for fruits and veggies, several chains and one of my favorites which is Trader Joe's.

I primarily shop at one store and use their pick up service. It's so much easier for me if they do the shopping. Once in a great while if I am feeling ambitious I will go to a different larger store to get things they don't carry. But I only go to 3 or 4 aisles because they are so big.

I have both a Cub and a Hyvee close to my house and across the street from each other. Most of the time I shop CUB but there are a few things only Hyvee carries.

I shop mostly 2 stores but I'll stop at others if I'm nearby or I know they have something I need. Sometimes familiarity wins out and I go for that because I can get in and out faster where I am familiar with the layout.

Every time I travel I always end up at a grocery store. Here we have a Kroger store. Prefer it over Safeway. HEB in Texas is great - wish I had those. Like the Whole Foods salad/hot bar. TJs is fun. We have some other little local markets that are nice too. So I guess I'm store-promiscuous! For regular stuff, usually the Kroger though.

I usually shop at Lidl's. If they don't have something I need, I will stop at either Food Lion or Lowe's, which I pass on the way home from Lidl's.

I stick to Aldi because they are a whole lot cheaper than Coles or Woollies, and only get things from them I can't get from Aldi, whose selection is smaller. The only things I do serious price hunting for are for the girls - the litter I use is $24 for 4kg. PetCircle charge $15, and even with the cost of delivery it's still a couple of dollars cheaper than picking it up (that's when Woollies, the only ones who carry it, actually have some in stock).

For a long time, I shopped exclusively at Kroger because it is closest. The last month I have been going to Meijer because it is a little cheaper. I feel a little guilty about it. Kroger employees have a Union and their full-time employees have a higher-than-average wage and benefits, but reality has taken over for me.

What we don't buy at ALDI, we buy at Walmart. Also, we don't buy name brands unless there is no alternative.

Pretty much anymore I shop at Aldis. There are things I can't get there,so because I have my discount,I do shop at WalMart.Every once in awhile the other grocery store here in town will have a really good sale and I'll go there.I've never been one to drive 25 miles to go to Springfield to do my grocery shopping.

I primarily shop at Walmart because I have a retired employee discount card. It's not a huge discount but something is better than nothing.

I've heard a saying that all good things must come to end. The web site for the store I use has been down for the last 2 days and there is no estimate of if and when it will be back. My refrigerator is almost empty so I guess I will have to go the store and do my own shopping.

We go to Sam’s for items we can buy in bulk (toilet paper, paper towels, litter, cleaning supplies. Trays of meats that we bring home, divide, and toss in the freezer.

We hit our local Giant for milk, bread, and other things we don’t buy at Sam’s.

I love Trader Joe’s for butter. I’ll buy 10-12 pounds at a time, seal, and toss in the freezer.

Vons, which is part of the Safeway chain I believe, and Whole Foods. I make a point not to shop at Trader Joe's as they have a miserable supermarket score card from the ASPCA regarding animal welfare.
