What generation were you born in? Does some of the information in this infographic fall in line with your generation?

I am a Millennial (Gen-Y) born in 1986. I think for the Aspiration and Attitude toward Career categories that is mostly true. I'm a hard worker and will go out of my way to help others at work, but I'm not going to live my life like my job is everything. I am so much more than my job and you won't find me working longer than I have to. If I could retire at 55, I totally would. I enjoy my job enough to do it long term but it isn't my passion. If I had to do my passions as a job, I'd quickly lose my love for them. That's the main reason I went into data instead of writing.

According to this I’m Gen X (most things I see have me as tail-end Baby Boomer). This seems more accurate. My whole working life was shaped by privatisation and recession.

I think I identify more with Generation X than Y. I don’t even remember hearing Y until recently. And I definitely remember being called Generation X in high school.

I'm on the border between Maturists and Boomers. One thing- and kind of a big thing- left off the chart for the Boomers is Vietnam.

Boomer, but I think I share more characteristics with GenX, especially communication preferences. Telephone is a last resort for anything these days.

i did notice this looks like it is geared toward U.K. I don't believe they were directly involved in the fighting.

I'm an Xennial---right on the edge, born in the last few months of 1979.

Maybe about 50/50 GenX/Millennial?

But also I was raised overseas which kind of messes up your cultural frame of reference.

I'm technically gen Y, but I truly consider myself an Xennial or the Oregon Trail mini generation.
