Since I just purchased some vitamins and supplements, today's question is:

Do you take any over-the-counter supplements or medications regularly?

Since I live in Minnesota, Vitamin D is basically a necessity for everyone. Even in the summer, I take 15000 units a week, I usually up it to 5000 units a day in the winter. I also take a prenatal vitamin and I ordered calcium tablets in my latest order. Additionally, I take psyllium husk and Miralax because one of my medications (that I'm no longer taking, but it will take awhile before my system returns to normal) causes intense constipation.

Vitamin D for me - there's plenty of sun here but I stay out of it, I don fancy skin cancer and loathe wearing sunscreen!
Maltofer iron tablets, I was borderline anaemic for a while. Fortunately only one every other day since they're about $25 a box. (None of the other iron supplements are strong enough.)

There's a lot I should be taking, but the one I regularly take is my B12 supplement. Being diabetic makes me prone to being low on B12. Runs in the family, too. My sister takes the shot because supplements do jack squat for her :( .

I should take some Vitamin D again, too. I had some wonderful tea loaded with Vitamin D when I had COVID-19 a year ago. I had so much energy!

I take a multivitamin designed for over-50 men, a 'joint maintenance' supplement regularly, and ibuprofen as needed.

I take calcium with D, Saffron, Lutein, and Preservision (my grandmother had macular degeneration}, and Midnite with Melatonin to fall asleep. The Saffron seems to have really helped, my vision keeps getting better, and the 'spot' I had on my macula is gone. I have been on it two years now.

I am supposed to be taking B12, but it was causing me some problems so I am hesitant. I know I need to start up again, because low B12 is not good either, and I definitely don't eat "right." I have some multivitamins liquid that I take when I think about it.

I still take prenatal vitamins, because I'm still breastfeeding. That's the only thing I take with regularity.

I try to stick to stuff I KNOW I need. Like Vitamin D, a multivitamin and a probiotic.

I've done a Hair/Skin/Nails supplement in the past too; but generally I try not to overdo it. My husband was seeing an Herbalist virtually to try to figure out what he should be taking; but good grief it's a lot. So he's trying to go without a bunch for a while to see what he really needs.

Besides allergy meds I just take a women's formula multivitamin. I have a medication if I get a bad migraine but it's on an as needed basis so not regularly.

I've been taking a daily multi-vitamin, lecithin, omega guard, herb lax and nutriferon supplements for years as well as loratidine OTC for allergies. I occasionally bump up with a B-complex vitamin when stressed or when taking short term medications that deplete Vitamin B.

For supplements, I take a multi-vitamin, calcium, and Vitamin D. I take a Vitamin B2 supplement that helps me with headaches. And Culturelle probiotics.
