Gladiolas are the flower for August and they are one of my least favorite flowers. I like to have cut flowers in the house and do occasionally buy them for myself. My husband will buy them for me once in a while for an occasion. I almost always pick up a bouquet to bring to my mother at the Assisted Living facility when I visit. I'm going this morning and it's a mix of white, yellow and orange flowers.
