I 'hear' Rick... I currently have a Sealy posture-pedic Black, firm.. It is over 5 years old and still has somewhat of a divot in the center. Right now it is not really helping my hip. I got it at a really good furniture shop when I got my previous one. They kind of suggested that the next one will probably be something like a Tempur-pedic--- so expensive.

From what I am hearing an adjustable base with a flexible mattress is the way to go. It seems like the adjustable base is what is necessary as we age. They are expensive also.. but better construction than a hospital bed.
Something to think about.

For me it would entail getting a new bed to accommodate the base. I currently have a platform bed, without a box spring, with 2 drawers under the bed. Kind of wish I had purchased the adjustable bed, when I moved it..

It is something to think about..
Mine is an adjustable bed but I don’t use any of the settings very often. But when you have a cold, being able to sleep with your upper body raised a little really really helps keep you more comfortable.
