Yes, beautiful place. I spent a few days hiking those trails.I stayed in a place near Kamicochi, in the Japanese Alps.
If it was in Kamikochi it was probably heated by a natural hot spring. The volcano there makes the water nice and toasty.I had a communal bath that felt like you could have boiled a lobster in it
I watched a documentary about that boat recently. It's amazing how many ship wrecks there have been on that lake.They have, among other things, the original bell from the Edmund Fitzgerald, made famous by the Gordon Lightfoot song.
Wow! That's just the kind of place I would be interested in visiting.first comes to mind is The Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic
