I spent a night in a bivuac on a little unnamed islant off the Antarctic Peninsula
Oh, you're hard core!
This house. You can't get more remote than this
 Sounds a bit like my house.
I stayed in a place near Kamicochi, in the Japanese Alps.
Yes, beautiful place. I spent a few days hiking those trails.
I had a communal bath that felt like you could have boiled a lobster in it
If it was in Kamikochi it was probably heated by a natural hot spring. The volcano there makes the water nice and toasty.
They have, among other things, the original bell from the Edmund Fitzgerald, made famous by the Gordon Lightfoot song.
I watched a documentary about that boat recently. It's amazing how many ship wrecks there have been on that lake.
first comes to mind is The Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic
:thud: Wow! That's just the kind of place I would be interested in visiting.

Most remote would probably be Cabot Trail in Cape Breton via Car and stopping regularly for hiking - did the full loop! Recommended for anyone who loves scenic routes, beautiful nature, hiking and local unique historical sights and food.

Most unusual....hard to pick just one! But first comes to mind is The Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic.
