I went that route with sugar, and I have to admit things like store bought cookies, bakery items, or breakfast cereals (with a few exceptions) make my teeth itch. When I bake a cookie or cake recipe, I usually use half the sugar and it turns out delicious.Since I started restricting my sodium a few years ago some things are just too salty now! I've always preferred unsalted pretzels and cut the salt in recipes. It's just more noticeable now.
