I love leftovers! Eat them all the time.

I have fun googling ingredients I have in the fridge to see what kind of creative meal I can make out of them. Tonight I'm making an arugula/spinach pesto with some greens in the fridge that will go bad soon if I don't use them up in something.

One of the recipe sites used to have a tool to search including certain ingredients and excluding others. It’s been a while since I’ve tried that. I should do that again. It was nice if I was in the mood for some kind of cuisine but not sure how to fix it on my own. :yummy:

The ultimate in recycling/leftovers.

These pumpkins started out as fall decorations on my porch.

Then I cut them up, made pepitas out of the seeds:

I roasted the meat, then puréed it:

The purée went into pumpkin bars for the humans, YUM:

And the pumpkin rinds went out in the yard, where Mr. Deer appreciated the treat (photo looks a little strange, taken through a screen door):

I have enough purée left to make a black bean/pumpkin stew tomorrow.

It depends on the meal really.
I used to eat mircowaved leftovers from my mum's pasta every week, and now I can't even stand the smell of it. It makes me feel nauseous. I've just eaten it way too often.
But things like left over Chinese food and leftovers I get after eating at my grandpa's are always welcome!
