I like watching them all and find the magpies the most entertaining. They're so bold and curious about everything.

The Downy Woodpecker, Cardinal, Morning Dove

Crows. I love crows, they're so smart and resourceful. There is a pair living near here that come down to collect any left over cat food every morning. They caw and bow when they see me coming outside with anything for them.

Marvelous birds.

Bluejays. They are somewhat aggressive and absolutely love peanuts. The Cardinals are next and then the big woodpeckers that feast on my suet.

Blue Herons and Loons I have a creek on my land behind the house and a small lake not too far away.

Have a couple of hummingbird feeders so get a lot of them too during the warmer months.

While I hardly see them I also really like owls. Chickadees too.

I forgot to mention that as well as cardinals my other choice is not popular by any means but I love Crows.

nd if you are patient, they will eat from your hand.

I have seen this. My Grandpa took pictures but I don't know if I have a copy. We didn't even use cardboard. My cousin just used a broom to prop his elbow up and stood quietly waiting next to the feeder and within a few minutes they started landing on his hands.
