It's a busy Monday here. That's not unusual; but DH is home working on seeding our yard. We spent the weekend fixing areas that settled after everything was dug up this winter. Then it rained and washed a bunch away where our gutters empty. I did a lot of weeding and we ended up needing a trip to the garden center yesterday. It's a little early for most of the flowers and things I normally get. But I was VERY tempted to get my tomato plants because they had one kind that I love but was hard to find last year.
Do you have a green thumb?
I don't know if I'd go so far as to say I have a green thumb; but I've learned a lot over the last 10 years. My Grandparents had green thumbs and I learned a lot from them and from taking a horticulture class for 2 years in high school. Some things don't go well. I've had plants die in spite of care and lots of google resarch and asking people. I just keep trying. DH told me he's glad I enjoy it because he doesn't think we get out of it what we put into it. I asked how he knows...he says because he sees the bills. Thats probably because I always find just one more pretty flower...
I did have to replace my tomato, bean and pea supports this year too. Thats what i picked up yesterday. That shouldn't count because those do usually last several years and some have lasted close to 10.
I've got a list of stuff I want to plant this year...
