Good morning!
Where do you eat your meals? As a child, where did your family eat meals? In the kitchen? A separate dining room? On TV trays in front of the television?
When I was young and still living at home, we always ate our meals at the kitchen table. And we always ate as a family as much as we could.
Rick and I usually eat at our kitchen table, too. Sometimes, though, if it's just a couple slices of pizza, we'll eat in the living room on the couch while watching the local news. When our son lived at home, we ate as a family, again, as much as we could. I worked a swing-shift, so it was difficult. He played a lot of sports, so he was usually at whatever practice. But we really tried.
I do know a couple who eats every meal on tv trays in front of the tv.
How about you? Where do you eat your meals?
ETA: I had posted this before proof-reading and when I was talking about being younger, I wrote "And we always ate a family...." I saw that and quickly edited the sentence. That could have gotten some attention! Proof-reading matters!
