First time QOTD question-asking! Sorry if any of my questions are repeats. Here goes...

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ON THE RADIO OR TV? IF SO, WHAT WAS THE CONTEXT?

I thought of this one because I called into a local radio show the other morning to weigh in on a relationship conundrum. I think I called in one or two other times in the past. I was on TV once - a Food Network show. It was just a VERY short clip of me giving feedback on something I ate.

Yes, in the early 70’s I was a guest on a PBS talk show regarding single parenthood and adoption. This was the point in time when single parenthood was becoming more accepted and the process for adoptive parents was changing. It was about an hour discussing the challenges of both, with myself and an adoptive parent couple as the guests.

In seventh grade, while at an intramural baseball game, a guy approached the coach and got approval to shanghai a couple of us for a short film on the nature walk in another part of the local park where the ball field was located. It was narrated, and they didn't use our real names, but I did see it on one of those local programs one Saturday afternoon. I think the whole segment ran maybe ten minutes or so. The main theme was the different clan totems of the Senecas on display along the trail.

I used to write and appear in a 5-10 minute slot on local cable TV. I worked in a library, and would choose a non-fiction book, such as a craft book, and make items from it and have the PR person interview me (I wrote the interviews). I did it for two years.

Was on Sesame Street once, many years ago, a bunch of kids making a diorama together. Blink and you miss it.
That's pretty cool. Sesame Street has always been pretty timeless and I grew up watching it in the late 80s.
I think I was in a few background shots of the (very small town) local news covering something sports related when I was in high school, but it wasn't exactly a ticket to Hollywood.
