That's a tough one on two counts. First off, I'm seldom in a down mood just because I'm not a 'down' sort by nature- it's bad for the blood pressure, too. Secondly, I don't listen to music any more because of my progressive deafness. However, there is a song that can get me revved up at any time. It's Ride my Seesaw, by the Moody Blues. All I have to do is think of it, and I can 'hear' it, if only in my mind.

Similar to N NY cat man here. I'm not generally down, and if I'm feeling stressed or anxious about something, the last thing I want to do is to listen to music. I haven't listened to music regularly for many years. There are individual songs I like when I happen to hear them - Why Aye Man, because it was the theme song for series 3 of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, or Ride A White Swan by T Rex, or various Springsteen or Fleetwood Mac or Moody Blues or ELO songs. But they're not mood lifters, more nostalgia trips.

I haven’t put it on in a while; but Pandora has/had a Family Roadtrip station that was great for fun, upbeat songs. I used to put it on while cleaning.

I bet Apple Music has something similar but I’ve not looked. Maybe tomorrow since DH wants to finish cleaning the garage out.

Yeah, and I remember hearing it on the local AM radio stations back in the day, since Buffalo had, and still has, such a large Polish population. My MIL used to listen to one that had all polka music on Saturday afternoons.
