Just an FYI, this link doesn't take us anywhere specifically for YOUR fundraiser. At least it doesn't work for ME.

Hoping things are going well for your kitten. I know how dangerous this can be :alright:
Help raise £2000 to Help raise vet bills for our 7 month old kitten with pyothorax.

thank you so much, I took it down to change the amount to make it more realistic and update the details. Yesterday I wasn't sure they were going to be able to help further but we're on our last chance.

It's been an emotional rollercoaster and I dont want to jinx it but we're hoping she's going to make it.

She had surgery due to multiple absesses on her lungs and has had two lung lobes removed, as they were closing her she had a pneumothorax and they found the leak and had to remove a little more of her lung. That was on Thursday and since then she's been doing well (she's been eating like a little shark according to the vets!) she's still not completely out of the woods but we're cautiously optimistic. She had a rube removed today that was in for fluid/air as there was no output and providing she continues to do ok overnight then they'll move her to the wards tomorrow.

The Queen mother University hospital for animals where she is have been incredible and they call me twice a day with updates.

Thank you for asking, really. This week has been just one of the worst weeks of my life and its so nice to know there's others out there rooting for her!

I added a photo of her (before surgery) they let us see her in case it didn't go well. The vets cut a little heart into her bandage 🥺

What a precious little one. Please keep us updated. Once we learn about a sick kitty, we worry, even though many of us may not post about it. Our thoughts are with you :vibes: :vibes: :vibes:
