Since there are so many awesome people on here, and I have an inquisitive mind, I figured I would learn the proper colors for these guys. Disclaimer, only two of them are owned by me, the rest belong to various family members. None of them have papers, so I know they are all DSH or DLH, but I wasn't sure if any specific breed influences would jump out at folks. I also didn't want to clog up the board with one post per cat, but wasn't sure if that would be easier? So I will put them all in here, and if having different posts would be better I can do that.
For now I will post one response per cat in this thread, seems there is a limit to pics.

This is Hobson. He weighs 25-26 pounds, and is not fat.

Hobson with his summer haircut. He adores his trims, and just about falls asleep.

This is Miss Muffins. She is right around 14 pounds at her best weight.

Sorry for the blur, but I love her nose.

She also adores her summer haircut.

This is Olive. She is the second to smallest of the family's cats. She only weighs about 9 pounds. I love her squinty eyes.

This is Squeen. She is close to Olive's size, but not sure on exact weight. She has the softest fur ever, with a unique look and feel to it.

And this is Oliver. He is a big boy, right around 20 pounds.

What a lovely clowder you have there!

Hobson appears to be a brown and white, with ghost mackeral tabby markings. At his size, he could very likely have some giant breed influence. His facial features resemble a Norwegian Forest Cat the most, because his face appears more triangular.

At 14 lbs, Muffy is pretty big for a girl cat! She does have some resemblance to a Siberian, with her rounder face and heavy boning.

Olive and Oliver would be called a brown mackeral tabby and white Domestic Shorthairs, and Squeen appears to be a brown mackeral tabby (doesn't look like she has white- just lighter brown fur under her chin?).

I agree in everything :)
Muffy's face reminds me of my Raistlin.

K Kokomo - have we any idea of Hobson's age? I'll throw in with Abyeb on this one, and not simply owed to facial conformation, but to his ruff and bib as well; if he's not a full Norwegian Forest Cat, he's doing one heck of a good impression of one.

If he's under five years at twenty-six pounds, stand back. Around 4½ years of age, NFCs very often experience a growth spurt, and can add six to seven inches in length, and ten pounds as they mature completely.

He's absolutely stunning, isn't he mightyboosh mightyboosh ?

Thank you all! My vets thoughts both Hobson and Muffin were Main Coons, and I always just went along with that. Muffin came to us as skin and bones at about 4 months old, and the vet thought she was a little stunted due to that. What color would she be? I call her my camo kitty when she gets a hair cut, but no idea what she really is.

Hobson is around 12 or 13 now. He did grow a huge amount when he was a few years old, surprised us all.

And the last of the bunch, the elusive Paddington.

He is the smallest of the bunch, and a very timid shy little dude.

Oh and, what breed influences would explain Oliver? I am not used to short haired cats quite as big as he is.
