I'm moving into a new apartment with my kitty tomorrow, and have to put the cat litter in the bathroom (it's carpeted everywhere except the bathroom and kitchen). In my previous apartment the cat litter was also in the bathroom, and I had an issue with it tracking onto the tile floor and sticking there when it got wet. I'd like to find a good low tracking cat litter, and maybe a good litter mat. Product suggestions would be much appreciated.

There was a discussion about this rather recently that you might find helpful:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/314233/how-to-stop-litter-tracked-everywhere-worlds-best-litter

Here's another, older thread that also addresses the problem:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/225957/...free-healthy-not-bad-for-me-or-my-cats-litter

And one about mats (mostly):  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/246274/litter-mats

I use Worlds Best Cat Litter myself and although it tracks in the bathroom, I haven't had difficulties with it making it as far as the carpeted rooms.  My one experience with cat mats did not go well as my cat somehow that it was an extension of the litter box.

I hope you find a good solution!
