I've been following information on H5N1 for a year or so, and it's quietly getting more and more concerning. Thank you for posting that link.

I haven't seen anything about goats getting it yet. But if cows can, I suspect they can. I'm thinking that in the US, with the bird flu spreading to cows, one should lean toward pasteurized milk for one's animals, particularly the young kittens and puppies and the elderly with weak immune systems. Though, honestly, so far I haven't seen anything about a vet bringing a cat, dog, cow or any other animal through it. I haven't even seen anything about anyone bringing a bird through it and they've been getting it longer than anything else.
