Pregnant with worms

I have 1 baby who refuses to eat with the others. Had no interest at all in the kitten food. But last night she got out of the pen area and ate some of mom's hard kitten food. Her kibble is for kittens, so is it okay for her to eat the hard food now? She seemed to enjoy it, and the other really only play with the hard stuff. They prefer soft mixed with kmr. All are also still nursing and gaining weight too.

Meet Tigger and Cookie.

Not sure what gender these two are, but I've decided to keep them. Along with mom (Annie) of course. I believe I have found loving 4ever homes for 3 of the others so far. But I'm not letting them go until they're 12 weeks old.

I wanted to post a final update to this thread. The kittens and mama are doing great. All 8 babies are healthy and happy (which is only because of all the assistance I got on this forum. I could never thank you guys enough)!

Cali went to her forever home a couple of days ago. She lives right next door and she's already playing and making herself at home there. The others will be here for another week or so before I start looking for a home. Mama went from a scraggly shy little pregnant stray to a self-confident, playful, beautiful, and happy cat. I love her and her babies so much. Wish I could keep them all!

That is an excellent update! Thank you so much for posting it! They are a very lovely family and Tigger sure looks Maine Coon. I am thrilled that Cali gets to be close by. That pic of Annie and baby Scooter is precious and would make a lovely print, especially for a doctor's office or children's room.
